Interview with my amazing coach ... Louise van der Nat

Interview with my coach… Louise van der Nat

I am one of the extremely lucky few females to have Louise van der Nat as a coach. She won the WBFF Pro Diva Figure Model 2012 and competed in 2013 and came 2nd.... AMAZING!!!!

The first time I saw Louise was at a show I went to watch, The Miss Xtreme. This lady on stage won and her coach “jumped” up and was so excited!
I knew then that I wanted that… I wanted a coach who lived and breathed the industry… who would jump at my achievements … My first picture I saw of Louise, she was in her bikini and I thought “oh my word! This lady has some serious muscles. If anyone can kick me into shape it had to be her, I know I motivate myself but sometime we all need a kick up the A** in the right direction….

Then I met Louise, i was so very nervous and she is not giant sized, but she has a giant sized personality and a gorgeous smile to go with her amazing friendly and sunny persona. Trust me thought she also has a fighting spirit so you do not want to get on her bad side.

"In high school, in sport, I had a coach who told me I was much better than I thought I was, and would make me do more in a positive sense. He was the first person who taught me not to be afraid of failure.

I had an interview a few months ago and even though I write a lot, this was a harder interview to complete. I meant to have it done before the 1st WBFF in South Africa, as they say “better late than never”.

I don’t know how anyone can compete and make it to stage without a coach. I believe what makes my coach absolutely amazing, is that she is a positive, honest, motivating larger than life billboard for the industry.

On a personal level I have been able to transform my body completely, and I must admit I have totally enjoyed dieting and training. I have had my bad days, but having my coach be disappointed in me was a worse feeling than eating any take away’s. However I am still learning and I have a long way to go but with this amazing coach I know I will achieve my goals.

Watching her compete, I was speechless!
