Have you become a cripple by choice?
Have you become a cripple by choice?
There are many inspiring stories out there but these have
brought tears to my eyes. Yesterday morning when I heard Joost van der
Westhuizen, talking to Garth Cliff on 5fm. My eyes watered listening to this
man who was once a fit and healthy individual, saying how he cannot simply run
with his kids.
Can you
imagine what it’s like to lose any or all of your senses you were blessed with?
I met a girl at gym, a wonderful young vibrant, fit and
healthy female. She was asked, if she wears braces to keep her skinny or help
her lose weight? That was only 1 of the crazy questions.
Since when did being
fit and healthy become a question of why, as opposed to a norm? As a female if
you want to lose weight, everyone questions why? Who do you want to look sexy
for?
·
You have a choice to get out of bed, dress
yourself, feed yourself and we choose to sit and television?
·
You choose to allow your kids to play games
where they sit for hours? Then you wonder why they have so much energy and call
it ADHD? Then put them on medication at a young age?
·
You choose to buy junk food on a regular basis
for yourself and your kids? Do you really want to dig your grave with your own
fork?
·
Did you get married to the love of your life, so
they could watch you die of a cardiovascular disease?
·
Do you have children? Do you plan on being an
active parent and being able to run and play with your kids? Can you do that if
you are cripple or unhealthy? What legacy do you want to leave for your
grandkids? That’s if you live long enough to see them grow up, or have the
pleasure of playing with them.

Never, Ever Give Up. Arthur's Inspirational
Transformation!
There are many
reasons why one should live a healthier lifestyle.
However, no one can force you to choose a
healthier and fitter lifestyle.
Neither can anyone make you appreciate the life
you have or force you to want more from your life, and push yourself past your
fears and limits.
Losing weight, picking up muscle, being more flexible, or eating
healthier is a journey, and there are days when you may want to give up but
keep your end goal in mind.
I am not saying you all need to change your lifestyle now to
become a total “health freak”, I am simply saying do not take your health, your
body, your mind or any of the senses you are blessed with for granted.
There are individuals who want to make a change
but don’t know how, where to start or who to ask. I am willing to listen and
assist anyone I can because I went through my own transformation, I understand.
(If you don’t believe me, please look at my terrible before photos).
If I cannot help you, I will recommend or find
someone I trust to assist you
Do you have 5 goals? Give yourself 5 reasons and the
days you feel you cannot stick to your journey of reaching the goal, then read
your reasons and remember why you started.
Have a fabulous inspiring weekend
