January tips for your New Years resolutions and Goals
I have blogged about goals previously, and in every magazine and most blogs will all mostly be about "goals"
(if you are interested and need more info on goal setting; Please look back into my archives, or comment/email me and I will send you the blog and more information on goal setting.)

My tips:
TIP 1:
Do not set goals under pressure. If you start the year off saying;
"I must lose weight!",
"I must walk daily";
"I have to find my passion, or a new job!"
"I must lose weight!",
"I must walk daily";
"I have to find my passion, or a new job!"
You are simply putting yourself under too much pressure. As with stress, a certain amount of stress and pressure is necessary, but when it comes to setting goals, a pressurized goal that you set will seem like a "chore".
The goals you set; have to be what you truly want, and/or need the change.
- - Anthony Robbins says, there are two reasons people change; pain or pleasure.
We all, forget a critical area! You need to be in the right frame of mind and in the correct space. What do I mean?
You cannot want to lose weight, but be going through a messy divorce, or have a family which you need to first prioritise.
It would also make no sense to start a new relationship if you are still stuck with the baggage from you past relationships? Do not buy furniture if you plan on moving?
Set goals which are realistic, which you can manage, and which you know you truly want!

Do you want to lose weight to fit into societies ideals? Or because you truly know deep down that living a healthy life is what you want but you need the help, guidance and encouragement.
Do you want to find another because you are unhappy with what you are doing? Or the people you work with? Or are you in a field you did not study for?
Do you want more passion in your relationships?
Do you want to cook healthier meals?
TIP 2:
What around you in your life is not working? What are you unhappy about?
Set your goals based on what you want to change, which will improve your life.
TIP 3:
Share the goals with someone who cares about you, and will help you put the steps in place. Often we have goals, but either do not know how to reach the goals or are too scared to ask.
Having another person you can discuss your goals with, means you will be accountable. Some people say' tell everyone, but that's completely up to you.
If you cannot find someone, or are still unsure; comment, send me an email, find my Facebook page (Inspired by May), and follow me on Twitter @inspirebyMay.
Set goals that will stretch you... the purpose of a goal IS WHO you become, and WHAT you LEARN about yourself on this journey... ENJOY IT!!!
Push yourself and reach for the stars... And Lastly LIVE... REALLY Live and laugh and love as much as you can!!!
Activity for this blog:
1. Take time to think on what you want, as well as what you do not want(but this must not be your main focus)
2. Set the goals
3. Write them down as well as the steps you need to reach those goals
4. Do your vision board (or use Pinterest); and/or write out 25 Things you want to achieve.
5. Discuss this with someone you trust and who can motivate you, help keep you on track and give you that extra push when you most need it.
(P.S. I am available to discuss, clarify or give more insights into goal setting)
Wishing you happiness, success, and sending you lots of love...
Always Maylene
