Reflecting on 2014... Part 1

It honestly felt like a week ago, when I was doing my vision board for 2014.

Now it's time to do a new vision board with new goals and old goals which I have not yet achieved, as bigger dreams take more courage and longer to go from my thoughts into my reality...

Generally by the end of December I am happy and ready for the year ahead. Ready to rush into the New year at full speed.

I am an organized person, according to my ex I love to plan, according to my boss I am extrememly organized and according to my friends I am always looking ahead, looking for the next trend.

There is truth to those thoughts about me.
However; I also know that not everything planned goes according to my plans... and I am perfectly okay with that becuase most things unplanned are generally great lessons i have learned and turn out to be a ton of fun. I like being organized, however there is so much more excitement in being spontaneous.

There are only certain factors you can control when you make plans, you can control your attitude, emotions and how you choose to view the situation after.

You cannot control the weather, other people's emotions, personlaities, their time or behaviours, so never let that affect you.

Where I would normally be very worried about my future, I am taking each day as it comes, and not over thinking every step I take.

Reflecting on 2014...

The year was a relaxed but good year... a few of my highlights... and days that were not so great..

I had on my vision board to be in the Fitness magazine... and Muscle evolution and I was... Although I wanted to be on the cover... so that goal of being featured in these amazing mags are still on the table....
These are the top fitness magazines and I am so honoured to have been in them. (See Antonette... my girl crush... lol)

My Studies... Career... Job
- My Website looks amazing; www.stylepersonified.co.za! Thank you Tina Mcdowell. You are a special lady with a wonderful accent, and your work is absolutely superb!

I still have some more work to do, as I always have new amazing ideas.

- I am blessed to work for Cash Converters Support Centre. I have intelligent bosses and work colleagues. All the bosses are respected and adored by everyone, and I have so much more to learn from them.

My Competing Career - its not career as yet ... but im being positive because its in my blood
- I competed at NABBA and found my stage confidence.

I have stage presence and this year I definitely learned how to walk a stage, have fun and simply work my booty.

(I do love my Booty! Worked hard on my body and I have always had a booty, the stage simply allows me to show it... she said blushingly)

I  placed 4th at regionals, importantly I know I have so much more to learn in this world of fitness which I may have a little addiction for.

It is January, and if you are looking for any motivation, I suggest following my Facebook page, Twitter account (@InspirebyMay) and Instagram (inspirebymay)

 To be continued...
